LEGO 6980 Galaxy Commander Near Mint New US Version Grade Condition Unused 6980

  
This is the great Lego Space 1983 Galaxy Commander U. If you came into my store you would have seen them there on display. This came from a local find when a hobby shop closed in the early 90's and placed all their inventory into storage. Fast forward to many years later, the find came up in an estate sale. This particular one is most likely the 1984-85 edition based on the other sets that were located with it at the same time. When I first got my hands on this, the condition was sealed on both ends and bags shut with NO pieces discoloring yet. After careful inspection, the sticker on the right end has pulled apart. The set has never been opened or touched and the pieces are all unused and there is NO Discoloring whatsoever.

This is getting to be a real problem with older Lego sets especially the colors White and Gray. The pieces were NEVER assembled and never opened. The box is overall an 8.5/10 condition.

There is one hole that I showed I a picture and it's on the bottom side of box, the same side as the price sticker. The other sides of the boxes are free of creases and display very nicely!

The color is very vibrant and beautiful for an almost 40 year old set. The original circle seal is this sealed on the left side but has separated on the right side.
